Academic Criteria:

  • For undergraduate, freshmen students:
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.3/4.0 on secondary/high school work.
  • For undergraduate, transfer or transient students:
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work
  • For undergraduate, post-degree students
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work

English Proficiency Requirements:

Incoming international undergraduate students must meet one of the criteria’s set forth in the below chart. However, citizens of these countries do not have to submit English proficiency scores due to English being the native language:

High School Graduate from USA, UK, Canada (except Quebec), Australia and New Zealand Must have completed two years there and graduated (exceptions to the graduation part apply if you take A-State’s English placement exam)
Duolingo English Test (Currently accepting till 12/31/21 due to COVID. Any Duolingo test received after 12/31/21 will not be accepted). 90
