Academic Criteria

  • For undergraduate, freshmen students
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.75/4.0 on secondary/high school work.
  • For undergraduate, transfer students
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work.
  • For undergraduate, post-degree students
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work.
  • For graduate students
    • Master of Business Administration program:the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.75/4.0.
    • MSE School Counseling program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.75/4.0
    • Master of Engineering Management program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.5/4.0 for conditional admission or a 2.75/4.0 for unconditional admissions
    • Master of Public Administration program:the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0
    • MS Early Childhood Services program:the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.75/4.0 with the Grade Point Average for the last 60 hours being a 3.0/4.0 for conditional admission or a 3.0/4.0 with the Grade Point Average for the last 60 hours being a 3.25/4.0 for unconditional admission.
    • MS Media Management program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0
    • MS Sports Administration program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0 (or a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.25/4.0 in the last 60 hours) for unconditional admission or a minimum Grade Point Average required of2.75/4.0 (or a minimum Grade Point Average of 3.00/4.0 in the last 60 hours) for conditional admission
    • MS Strategic Communication program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0
    • MS Education in Educational Leadership program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0
    • MS Education in Reading program: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 3.0/4.0
    • MS Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management: the minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.75/4.0 or a 3.0/4.0 Grade Point Average for the last 60 hours

Incoming international students into the online program must meet one of the criteria’s set forth in the below chart. However, citizens of these countries do not have to submit English proficiency scores due to English being the native language:
