What is imPACT?

imPACT is a registered student organization under the umbrella of the Office of Title IX and Institutional Equity. They provide campus programming on bystander intervention, consent, healthy relationships, dismantling rape culture, and other general Title IX knowledge for the campus community. They can present in classrooms, in collaboration with other campus partners, and to on-campus residents. They provide a student face and a student voice to help educate others on the impact of Title IX to our campus community.

How Can I join imPACT?

We are accepting member applications for the 2020-2021 academic year on a rolling basis. Please complete this member application and a member of imPACT will contact you shortly after submission.

All members must maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Members will be annually trained in the campus Title IX investigation process & structure, relevant Title IX information, & the campus reporting process. All elected officers should be in good academic & conduct standing with the University, holding at least a cumulative 2.5 GPA.

All members of the organization agree that there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, age, disability, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, or political opinions or affiliations.

All members of the organization agree no member will engage in any activity that is unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature that creates a hostile environment. Behaviors that could create a hostile environment include sexual harassment (which could include inappropriate sexual comments), sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

Hazing: there will be no initiation, support, or encouragement of any events or situations that recklessly, by design, or intentionally endanger the mental or physical health or safety of a student for any purpose including, but not limited to, initiation or admission into or affiliation with any student group or organization.

Responsibility to Report: if a member of this organization becomes aware of any such conduct which may fall under the scope of Title IX, members agree they will report it immediately to the Title IX Office on the campus of Arkansas State University.
