Student Government Association

The Student Government Association is committed to providing support, fellowship,
and advocacy for the students of Arkansas State University.
THE VOICE OF THE STUDENTS
As the designated representative voice for the students, SGA strives to promote a
greater understanding and cooperation with the faculty and administration. SGA works
to ensure that the students realize their rights to influence academic policies on
the university's campus.
Serving Our Students
SGA Senate meetings are held every other Tuesday during the Fall and Spring semesters
at 5:30pm in Delta Center Room 201 and are open to the public.

SGA staff and senators served alongside SAB to bring fun and exciting events to campus
during Wolves Up Week.

Classification, college and special interest senators are elected and sworn in during
the Spring semester, while freshman senators are elected and sworn in each Fall.

SGA participates in many campus activities including the annual Haunted House and
Fall Festival.

SGA has been instrumental in bringing trolley and transportation services to campus
for students, faculty and staff. Did you know you can ride for free with your A-State
ID?
