Johnson to Direct Operations for Reng Student Union
JONESBORO – Scott Johnson has been appointed director of operations at the Carl R. Reng Student Union at Arkansas State University, according to Brian Lasey, assistant vice chancellor for facilities and maintenance.
“Scott moves to the Reng Student Union after working in various maintenance and operations roles within Facilities Management for several years,” Lasey added. “We are pleased to see him take on this new leadership role.”
A native of Marked Tree, Johnson joined the Facilities Management team in 2006 He will oversee various operations in the Reng Student Union, ranging from set up and management of events to direct supervision of custodial services and select maintenance activities.
The Reng Student Union includes the Acansa Cafeteria, Centennial Hall, food court, auditorium, student organization offices, and an array of smaller meeting and gathering places, making the facility a hub for campus activity.
