Welcome to Arkansas State University!

Multicultural Center

Established in 2010, the Multicultural Center (MC) strives to sustain an inclusive campus environment that values and respects all members of the university community.

Not just a Space, but a Place for ALL

The Multicultural Center has become an integral part of campus life as a place that offers and supports multicultural awareness and learning through programs and initiatives that increase understanding and appreciation of differences.

In August 2011, Niya Blair became the director of the Multicultural Center, and in August of 2013, the center was established as a stand-alone department reporting to the associate vice chancellor for student affairs.
