ASU SBTDC teams with Batesville Chamber of Commerce to present website planning for small business workshop August 16

JONESBORO — The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Batesville will host a workshop entitled, “Website Strategy and Planning for Small Businesses,” on Thursday, August 16, at the Batesville Chamber of Commerce, 409 Vine Street, from 1:30-4:30 p.m.

The seminar will be conducted by Steven Trotter of Pleth LLC to help attendees explore the strategies, techniques, technologies and best practices needed to turn their websites into an effective marketing tool for their business.  

“Whether you are planning to create your own website or hire someone to do it for you, you need to know some key fundamentals,” said Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC director.  “Attendees will also learn how to include their social media marketing efforts such as Facebook, Twitter, and blogs into their website for synergy.”
