With a Minor in Agriculture at Arkansas State University you will receive the core skills of analysis and critical observation of financial and business systems related to the agricultural sector, learn about sustainability in the choice of a rural livelihood, and learn to deal with and respect the seasonal and environmental constraints from the local to the global level, involving sound financial, legal and political management as they impact on the environment.

Minor Requirements

A minimum of 18 credit hours with a minimum GPA of 2.25 or a grade of at least a “C” for each course.

Coursework Overview

All Agricultural Mechanics courses have an AGED Prefix. Three hours of AGEN, lower or upper-level, may be used to satisfy the requirements of this minor.
