    A-State's first family weekend is this Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23. Campus will be bustling with athletic events and other special events. Join us for a tailgate at the Chancellor's Residence from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday.

    Arkansas State University today received the 2018 Higher Education Excellence in Diversity (HEED) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine, the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.

    The First Fully Painted Film

    The Department of Art + Design will be showing the award-winning film “Loving Vincent” Thursday, Sept. 20, from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Reng Student Union auditorium. Each of the 65,000 frames of the film is an oil painting done in the style of van Gogh.
