Honors Research

Arkansas State University offers research opportunities of all types. The range of research activity includes business, education, engineering, the humanities and the arts, the natural sciences, mathematics, and the social sciences. Honors College students have a unique advantage to become engaged in research early on in their academic careers.

Students can present their findings at on-campus symposiums or receive funding to present across the country. A-State has a wealth of outstanding researchers that are available to mentor students through their endeavors.

Research Travel Funds

The Office of Research and Technology Transfer (ORTT) provides funds to undergraduate students to present research or creative works at a professional conference or meeting. These funds help cover costs such as registration fees, meals, travel and lodging.

Student Undergrad Research Fellowship

SURF is designed to allow undergraduate students to conduct in-depth research projects in their specific fields of study with the assistance of faculty mentors. All types of undergraduate research are eligible for support, and all academic disciplines are encouraged to apply.
