Important Dates for August 2013 Graduation
Undergraduate Online Intent to Graduate Form Due: May 31 (Friday after classes begin)
When the online intent form is completed, an automatic email is sent to your campus email account, notifying you of the receipt and directing you to the Undergraduate Graduation Tracker. If you HAVE NOT filled out the intent form, please do so IMMEDIATELY, as you will not be included in any reporting if not coded. If an intent form has not been submitted by May 31st, it will need to be submitted by the advisor, attached to the checksheet. Intent forms submitted late may result in the graduate’s name not appearing in the Commencement Program. In addition, the diploma and final transcript will also be delayed.
For additional information on the online intent to graduate form, please click here. If you are having difficulty submitting the intent form, please contact the Office of Admissions, Records and Registration at (870) 972-2031 or by email at graduation@astate.edu.
Effective as of Fall 2013, any student that files an Intent to Graduate Application but DOES NOT graduate during that same semester will be required to pay the graduation fee when filing the application again. Students that are graduating during the August 2013 Graduation that do not graduate will be required to pay this fee for the Fall 2013 semester.
Undergraduate Checksheets Due: June 7
Once the intent form is completed, your advisor will be informed that your checksheet is needed. These are the responsibility of the advisor, and must come directly from the department. Students SHOULD NOT submit checksheets to our office.
Undergraduate Graduation Fee
This fee is required of ALL graduating students, even if you do not participate in the ceremony. The $45 fee covers the processing of the paperwork, the printing of the Commencement Program, the Diploma and cover, as well as the attire. This fee will be processed once the online intent form is completed.
