Transferring from one college to another or simply returning to college can be intimidating, that's why Arkansas State is happy to offer campus visits specifically for transfer students. These visits will allow you to meet with a Recruitment Advisor and to ask questions you may have about transferring to Arkansas State.
Individual Transfer Visits
We understand that every transfer student experience is unique. These visits are offered on Monday-Thursday at 2 different times: 9:30am and 1:30pm. During your general campus visits you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with the Transfer Coordinator (approximately 30 minutes).
- Tour Campus with a Chancellor's Ambassador tour guide (approximately 45 minutes, weather permitting).
- The CA will guide you through our academic buildings, state of the art Red WOLF Fitness facility, and our Student Union. You will also see the residence halls that will be your home while at A-State
We strongly suggest contacting the department of your intended major to schedule a meeting with an Academic Advisor. Because each transfer student has completed different classes, you should plan to bring your unofficial transcripts with you. Prior to your arrival on campus, we encourage you to use our Transfer Equivalency Tool to determine how courses earned at another university will transfer to A-State. If you have specific questions for other offices (i.e. Residence Life, Financial Aid & Scholarships, etc.), please take advantage of your time on campus to set up meetings with representatives from those areas.
