Arkansas Promise ScholarshipTM

Out-of-State Scholarship

-U.S. citizen
-Incoming Freshmen - minimum 24 ACT or 110 SAT CR+M and 3.000 gpa

-Transfer Students - minimum 24 transfer hours and 3.250 gpa

Equal to out-of-state tuition costs

Automatically awarded and post to student account upon billing

Must be a full-time ASUJ student
This benefit is not available to students who attend ASUJ during the summer unless the student attended ASUJ full-time the previous spring semester

-Student athletes receiving institutional athletic aid may not qualify, please contact the ASU Athletic Compliance Office for determination of eligibility

-Students are encouraged to complete the admissions process as early as possible to be admitted before the December 1st deadline to be considered for a scholarship award. Arkansas State University awards scholarships to eligible students based on the funding available at the time of the award.  A-State reserves the right to make changes to the scholarship program at any time based on the funds available, the number of eligible students and date students were admitted.
*Scholarship award letters will be mailed the third week of December.
-All scholarships are administered according to University guidelines.
-A scholarship award will only be made to those students who have applied and been admitted to Arkansas State University. For a student to be considered for admission, we must receive an admission application, along with an official six semester high school transcript, $15 application fee, and official ACT score. -Arkansas Scholar, Leadership and Pride Awards include an allowance for housing valued at a maximum $3720 for the year. Recipients not living on campus will have their award reduced by $3720. All housing scholarships are based on double room occupancy rates and are contingent upon the availability of on-campus housing.
