New Recipients 2013-2014 Academic Year

Students must be admitted to the University by December 1, 2012 to receive a scholarships offer. All housing scholarships are contingent upon availability of on-campus housing.

ASTATE Leadership *Deadline: December 1, 2012	-Arkansas resident -U.S. citizen -2013 graduate of Arkansas High School -28-29 ACT and 3.250 gpa	29 ACT - $8720 including room 28 ACT - $8220 including room	15 ASUJ hours on the ASUJ campus per semester and a cumulative 3.250 gpa Renewable up to eight semesters	-Be admitted to the university -No scholarship application required.
ASTATE Pride *Deadline: December 1, 2012	-Arkansas resident -U.S. citizen -2013 graduate of Arkansas High School -25-27 ACT and minimum 3.250 gpa	-27 ACT - $7220 including room -26 ACT - $6970 including room -25 ACT - $6720 including room	15 ASUJ hours on the ASUJ campus per semester and a cumulative 3.250 gpa Renewable up to eight semesters	-Be admitted to the university -No scholarship application required.
ASTATE Spirit *Deadline: December 1, 2012	-Arkansas resident -U.S. citizen -2013 graduate of Arkansas High School -24 ACT and minimum 3.250 gpa	24 ACT - $3,000	15 ASUJ hours on the ASUJ campus per semester and a cumulative 3.250 gpa Renewable up to eight semesters	-Be admitted to the university -No scholarship application required.
Beyond Boundaries *Deadline: December 1, 2012	-U.S. citizen -2013 High School graduate -Minimum 26 ACT and 3.250 gpa	$2000	15 ASUJ hours on the ASUJ campus per semester and a cumulative 3.250 gpa Renewable up to eight Semesters	-Be admitted to the university -No scholarship application required.
Arkansas Promise Scholarship^TM Deadline: June 1, 2013	-Arkansas resident -U.S. citizen -2013 graduate of Arkansas High School -Minimum 22 ACT and 3.000 gpa	$2,000	15 ASUJ hours on the ASUJ campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 gpa Renewable up to eight semesters	-Be admitted to the university -No scholarship application required.
Out-of-State Scholarship	-U.S. citizen -Incoming Freshmen - minimum 24 ACT and 3.000 gpa -Transfer Students - minimum 24 transfer hours and 3.250 gpa	Equal to out-of-state tuition costs	Must be a full-time ASUJ student This benefit is not available to students who attend ASUJ during the summer unless the student attended ASUJ full-time the previous spring semester	-Be admitted to the university -Student athletes receiving institutional athletic aid may not qualify, please contact the ASU Athletic Compliance Office for determination of eligibility

-All scholarships are awarded based on the availability of funding. *Scholarship award letters will be mailed the third week of December.
-All Scholarships are administered according to University guidelines.
-A scholarship award will only be made to those students who have applied and been admitted to Arkansas State University. For a student to be considered for admission, we must receive an admission application, along with an official six semester high school transcript and official ACT score. -Arkansas Scholar, Leadership and Pride Awards include an allowance for housing valued at a maximum $3720 for the year. Recipients not living on campus will have their award reduced by $3720. All housing scholarships are based on double room occupancy rates and are contingent upon the availability of on-campus housing.
