The University is licensed by the State of Arkansas to use radioactive materials in certain circumstances. The University Radiation Safety Officer, Dr. Ronald Johnson is located in the Department of Biological Sciences and can be contacted at 870-972-2366. The University Laser Safety Officer, Mr. Starr Fenner is the Director of Environmental Safety and can be contacted at 870-972-2862. Both have the responsibility for oversight of this program.
