If you are an international student who fits one of the below categories and is seeking entrance to a Bachelor’s degree at A-State, undergraduate is the right application type for you.

  • A student in their senior year of high school/secondary school is looking for admission upon graduation. This is called a freshman student.
  • A recent graduate of high school/secondary school that has no post-secondary/university/college work. This is called a freshman student.
  • A graduate of high school/secondary school that has post-secondary/university/college work but does not have a college/university degree. This is called a transfer student.
  • A graduate of high school/secondary school that has a post-secondary/university/college work and a degree. This is called a post-degree student.

Academic Criteria:

  • For undergraduate, freshmen students:
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.3/4.0 on secondary/high school work.
  • For undergraduate, transfer students:
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work
  • For undergraduate, post-degree students
    • The minimum Grade Point Average required is a 2.0/4.0 on post-secondary/university/college work

English Proficiency Requirements:

Incoming international undergraduate students must meet one of the criteria’s set forth in the below chart. However, citizens of these countries do not have to submit English proficiency scores due to English being the native language:
