2024-25 Scholarship Packages

A scholarship award will only be made to those students who have applied and been admitted to Arkansas State University.  These scholarships are for on-campus students only.  A-State Online students are not eligible. Scholarship Deadline is July 1, 2024, for all scholarships EXCEPT A-State Scholar.

General Requirements

  • 2024 High School Graduate
  • Arkansas Resident and U.S. citizen
  • 19+ ACT superscore or 990-1010 new SAT and 3.00 HS GPA
  • Household income under $70K AGI (Adjusted Gross Income)
  • Completed FAFSA
  • CSS Profile may also be required

A-State Scholar

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen
  • 2024 high school graduate
  • Minimum 31 ACT superscore or 1400 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Awards up to $14,000 for on-campus students. Includes $3,000 for meal plan and $3,000 for housing. The remaining balance is applied to tuition and fees. 

Renewal

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester (including one Honors course) and a cumulative 3.500 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

How to Apply

Be admitted to the university and apply for the A-State Scholar by Feb. 1, 2024. Additional documents are required to be considered for the A-State Scholar.

A-State Inspire

Requirements

  • Arkansas Resident and U.S. citizen
  • 2024 High School Graduate
  • Minimum 25 ACT superscore or 1210 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Awards $4,500 per academic year.

Renewal

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

How to Apply

Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required.

A-STATE ENRICHMENT

Requirements

  • Arkansas Resident and U.S. citizen
  • 2024 High School Graduate
  • 21-24 ACT superscore or 1060-1209 new SAT and 3.00 HS GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Awards $3,000 per academic year.

Renewal

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required.

Out-of-State Scholarships Heading

A-STATE OPPORTUNITY

Requirements

  • Non-Arkansas Resident
  • U.S. citizen
  • 2024 High School Graduate
  • 21 or above ACT superscore or 1060 new SAT and minimum 3.00 HS GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Awards $3,000 per academic year.

Renewal

15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

How to Apply

Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required.

Get In-State at A-State

Requirements

  • U.S. citizen
  • For First-Time Students:
    Minimum 24 ACT superscore or 1160 new SAT and minimum 3.00 HS GPA
  • For Transfer students:
    Minimum 24 transfer hours and 3.25 cumulative transfer GPA

Annual Award Amounts

Offsets out-of-state tuition costs. (You only pay in-state tuition & fees)

Renewal

Remain a full-time student at A-State. This benefit is not available for summer semesters unless the student attended A-State full-time the previous spring semester.

How to Apply

Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required. Student-athletes receiving institutional athletic aid may not qualify; please contact the A-State Athletic Compliance Office for determination of eligibility.
