NYIT PROPOSES ARKANSAS STATE SITE
FOR MEDICAL SCHOOL IN THE DELTA
Teaming with hospitals and clinics to educate osteopathic physicians in Northeast Arkansas will improve primary healthcare access for a critically underserved region of the country.
With this new medical school, NYIT hopes to share its distinguished record of producing family physicians and internists with a part of the country that has a recognized health need and primary care physician shortage.

A feasibility study shows the addition of the medical school at A-State will have an initial $70 million annual economic impact on Northeast Arkansas and grow to $88 million annually.
