Murdock to Leave ASU for New Position

JONESBORO, Ark. — Arkansas State University Chancellor Tim Hudson today announced that Cristian Murdock resigned Friday as vice chancellor for University Advancement.

Murdock said he was resigning to accept a position with Gonser Gerber as a consultant in Naperville, Ill.

“We appreciate Cristian’s service to the university during the past five years and wish him well,” Hudson said.

Dr. Jason Penry, who serves the university as Chief of Staff, will oversee the Office of University Advancement on an interim basis as part of his duties until a permanent successor is chosen.
