COMMISSIONING CEREMONY -- Lt. Col. Michael E. Fellure (left), professor of military science at Arkansas State University, administers the oath of office Friday to commissioning ROTC cadets (from left) Chase Autry of Collierville, Tenn., Nicholas Maier of Sherwood and Jordan Mays of Cherokee Village. They will branch (respectively) to armor, military intelligence and military police. In the background are Maj. Brian Mason and guest speaker Col. John O. Payne, state aviation officer for the Arkansas Army National Guard. The three new second lieutenants will graduate during commencement Saturday with degrees in criminology.
