Fowler Center to Offer 'Sneak Peek' Season Announcement

JONESBORO – Fowler Center at Arkansas State University will announce its 2015-16 season of performances and presentations during the annual "Sneak Peek," Thursday, July 23, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Fowler Center is at 201 Olympic Dr.

Bob Simpson, director of Fowler Center, will present an overview of the upcoming season’s concerts including audio and video highlights, background on guest artists, and how the season evolved. 

Beginning in September, Fowler Center will host an assortment of cultural events and entertainment, including seven concerts in the Riceland Distinguished Performance Series, one concert in the Family Friendly series, four A-State Theatre productions, two Summer Theatre plays, dozens of concerts by the A-State Department of Music faculty and students, the Delta National Small Prints Exhibition and six art shows.

A question and answer session will follow, along with refreshments.  Those attending will be eligible to win a subscription to the Fowler Center Series and Theatre Department Series.

Fowler Center is home to the 970-seat Riceland Hall, the 344-seat Drama Theater, the Experimental Black Box teaching theater, the Bradbury Gallery and the Department of Theatre.

Admission to the Sneak Peek is free, but space is limited.  One may reserve a spot by calling (870) 972‑3471.
