A-State Community Choir to Begin Rehearsals

JONESBORO – Arkansas State University's community choir will begin its 2014–15 season on Monday, Aug. 25, announced Dr. Dale Miller, director.

Rehearsals will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. every Monday evening in the choir room of the Fine Arts Center, 2412 Quapaw Way on the A-State campus.

This fall, the choir will be singing Mozart's "Solemn Vespers" in collaboration with community and college singers from Blytheville and Arkansas Northeastern College, led by Dr. Keith Hearnsberger of ANC.

Jonesboro–area singers from high school age through senior citizens are welcome to join.  Miller is asking everyone who has not previously been a member of the choir to please contact him for an audition time.  No prepared music is required for the audition.
