There are over 250 graduate assistantships filled each year. These roles provide valuable experience and financial support while you complete your degree.
You can find 3 types of graduate assistantships:
- Graduate Teaching Assistants (GTA)
- Graduate Research Assistants (GRA)
- Graduate Administrative Support Assistants (GSA).

Graduate Student Council
The Graduate Student Council serves as the main support organization for graduate students. Graduate Student Council is also an advocate for clarification of graduate student employment and serves to protect the rights of graduate students. The council works for the benefit of the University community and serves as an advocate and resource for A-State students. The council works to recognize, foster, and promote outstanding leadership and high academic achievement among graduate and doctoral students.
