2025-26 Scholarship Packages
A scholarship award will only be offered to students who have applied and been admitted to Arkansas State University. These scholarships are for on-campus students only. A-State Online students are not eligible. Scholarship Deadline is July 1, 2026, for all scholarships EXCEPT A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer.

General Requirements
- 2026 High School Graduate
- Arkansas Resident and U.S. citizen
- 19+ ACT superscore or 990-1010 new SAT and 3.00 HS GPA
- Household income under $70K AGI (Adjusted Gross Income)
- Must be an admitted student
- Completed FAFSA
- Completed Arkansas Challenge Lottery application
* Covers housing costs for first-years ONLY. Can be combined with the Academic Scholarships.
A-State Scholar
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- 2026 high school graduate
- Minimum 31 ACT superscore or 1400 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Awards up to $18,000 for on-campus students.
Renewal
15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester (including one Honors course) and a cumulative 3.500 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.
How to Apply
The A-State Scholar is a competitive scholarship. The deadline to apply for the A-State Scholar is Feb. 1, 2026 and your offer must be accepted by March 1, 2026. If you are sent an email stating that you qualify, you will have to submit additional documentation.

A-State Trailblazer
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- 2026 high school graduate
- Minimum 28 ACT superscore or 1300 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Awards up to $10,000 for on-campus students.
Renewal
15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester (including one Honors course) and a cumulative 3.500 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.
How to Apply
The deadline to apply for the A-State Trailblazer is Feb. 1, 2026 and the offer must be accepted by March 1, 2026.

A-State Inspire
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- 2026 High School Graduate
- Minimum 25 ACT superscore or 1210 new SAT and 3.50 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Awards $6,000 per academic year.
Renewal
15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.
How to Apply
Must be an admitted student. You automatically qualify for our Academic Scholarships if you meet the minimal requirements with exception of A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer. No additional application is required.

A-STATE ENRICHMENT
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- 2026 High School Graduate
- 21-24 ACT superscore or 1060-1209 new SAT and 3.00 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Awards $4,000 per academic year.
Renewal
15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.000 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.

Must be an admitted student. You automatically qualify for our Academic Scholarships if you meet the minimal requirements with exception of A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer. No additional application is required.

A-State Endeavor
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- 2026 High School Graduate
- Must have a 19 or 20 ACT superscore (or 990-1050 SAT) and 3.50 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Awards $2,000 per academic year.
Renewal
15 A-State hours on the A-State campus per semester and a cumulative 3.0 GPA. Renewable up to eight semesters.
How to Apply
Must be an admitted student. You automatically qualify for our Academic Scholarships if you meet the minimal requirements with exception of A-State Scholar and A-State Trailblazer. No additional application is required.

Out-of-State Scholarship
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- For First-Time Students:
Minimum 24 ACT superscore or 1160 new SAT and minimum 3.00 HS GPA
Annual Award Amounts
Offsets out-of-state tuition costs. (You only pay in-state tuition & fees)
Renewal
Remain a full-time student at A-State. This benefit is not available for summer semesters unless the student attended A-State full-time the previous spring semester.
How to Apply
Must be an admitted student. No additional application is required. Student-athletes receiving institutional athletic aid may not qualify; please contact the A-State Athletic Compliance Office for determination of eligibility.

Mileage Waiver
Requirements
- U.S. citizen
- For Bordering States (Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas)
- Must meet university admission requirements
