A Bachelor of Science in Education (BSE) degree in Biology is designed for individuals who are interested in becoming a science teacher or are pursuing other careers in science education. This degree program provides students with a strong foundation in biology, including topics such as genetics, ecology and cell biology. In addition to traditional biology courses, students in this program will also take education courses that prepare them for teaching in a classroom setting, such as instructional strategies, classroom management, and educational technology. The BSE in Biology program also includes opportunities for hands-on teaching experiences through internships and student teaching.
