Biography

Mrs. Ko’s nursing education began with a completion of a Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) in 2012 from the University of Arkansas.  After graduation, she worked in the intensive care and emergency department for five years.  She decided to return to school for her Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) with an emphasis in Family Practice with completion in 2017.  After graduation, she worked in urology, health and wellness and family practice.  Mrs. Ko started teaching in graduate nursing at AState in 2021. She is now in school obtaining her Doctor of nursing practice (DNP) degree with a nursing education emphasis.  The expected conferral date of this degree is summer 2024.  She is a member of Junior Auxiliary and First United Methodist Church.  She is married and has two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering, exercising, and being involved in her daughter’s extracurricular activities.
