A-State Food Pantry USDA Coronavirus Food Assistance Program The USDA created a Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP) to offer free, pre-packed perishable food boxes to agencies for distribution to the public without income guidelines. The Food Bank of NEA has offered this opportunity to the A-State Food Pantry as one of its member agencies. This event will take place on campus and be available to the A-State campus community. The A-State Food Pantry volunteers will create a drive through distribution site on campus in a large parking lot using cones and volunteers to manage the flow of traffic. Food recipients may arrive at the drive-through distribution site and a volunteer will approach the vehicle at a safe distance, and food boxes will be placed in the recipient’s trunk or back seat of their vehicle.
All events on campus are subject to rescheduling of location, date or time due to compliance with university COVID-19 plans.
