Contest Rules
- Arkansas State University students who have studied abroad between 2016 and 2018 are eligible to participate.
- Entrants must be currently enrolled students at Arkansas State University.
- Students may submit one photograph per category. Each entry per category will an require individual submission.
- Submissions must be original work, with minimal edits, and taken by the entrant while studying abroad.
- Submissions must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable imagery.
- Submissions must be high-resolution JPEG, 300dpi or higher. Low-quality photographs will be disqualified.
- Image Label: Photos that are uploaded must be named with the contest category, location, and entrants name.

Photo Categories
- Cultural Snapshot: Photos that provide a sense of local culture, people in the country you visited.
- Landscape/Nature: Photos that show sights, natural wonders, and architecture of the region.
- Pack Pride: Photos that show A-State logos and Wolves Up in a recognizable "international" setting (e.g. a student/group wearing a Red Wolf T-Shirt in front of a historic monument).
- Learning Abroad: Photos of learning and academic activities during your Study Abroad experience. (e.g. photos of fieldwork or lectures in a historic site).
Prizes
- An A-State Study Abroad Backpack
- A Selfie Stick
- A collapsible travel water bottle
- A $500 unconditional student travel voucher for an A-State Study Abroad Program in 2019. (The travel voucher is non-transferrable)
Judging
Photographs are voted for on Facebook. Photographs with the highest Reactions (Likes) in each category will win that category.
Submissions will open on September 21, 2018. Submitted photographs will be first uploaded on September 25, 2018, and will be open for voting. Subsequent submissions by 5:00 PM each day will be uploaded by 5:00 PM the following day. Send in your submissions early and campaign for your photographs after they are uploaded to the Study Abroad Facebook Page.
Submissions will close on November 06, 2018, at 5:00 PM.
Photographs will be voted for on the A-State Study Abroad Facebook Page on September 25, 2018.
Winners will be announced at the Study Abroad Fair, on November 13, 2018.
Photographs from each category that receive the most Facebook Reactions (Likes) on the A-State Study Facebook page by 5:00 PM on November 09, 2018 will receive a prize at the Study Abroad Fair on November 13, 2018.
Please note, Facebook Reactions on personal shared posts will not be counted towards the final tally. When you share your photographs on your personal profile, please ensure that your friends React to the photos on the A-State Study Abroad Facebook page.
All Submissions will be displayed at the Study Abroad Fair.
