2019 SI BannerThe A-State Faculty Center Summer Institute sessions are designed to inspire faculty to engage today’s learners in a 21st century mobile learning environment.  The Faculty Center hosts sessions to provide faculty with a variety of professional development opportunities to inspire and cultivate innovative teaching.

Participants are expected to show how they will use the knowledge, skills, and teaching strategies they develop during the sessions to enhance their teaching during the next academic year. June and July participants will present their work at showcase events scheduled for June 27 and July 25.

One of the main benefits of participating in a summer institute is the opportunity to develop collaborative relationships with faculty from across campus.  When faculty work together in a summer institute, they inspire each other by sharing ideas and encouraging feedback.

Please choose to participate in one or more of the following Summer Institutes.  Institute stipends range from $300 to $1200. Compensation may not exceed $1500 total for Summer Institute sessions.  Faculty may choose to participate in sessions without compensation.

If you would like to attend any to the sessions this year as non-stipend, please contact the A-State Faculty Center at 870-972-2334 or ittclab@astate.edu
