Arkansas State University is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The University campus occupies 800 acres on the gently rolling slopes of Crowley’s Ridge in Northeast Arkansas. Jonesboro is an educational, medical, industrial, and agricultural center with a population of approximately 50,000. The area provides an excellent quality of life, good public schools, and a reasonable cost of living. Arkansas State University is
65 miles northwest of Memphis, Tennessee and 130 miles northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas. Our local TV station is KAIT8 and our local newspaper is the Jonesboro Sun. Traveling from Memphis
Take I-55 North, or I-40 West, across the Mississippi River to West Memphis. Proceed north on I-55 approximately 20 miles to 'Exit 23-B Arkansas State University/Jonesboro' via U.S. 63. Proceed north on U.S. 63 through Tyronza, Marked Tree, Trumann, and Bay to Jonesboro ( approximately 45 miles). Exit right at 'Stadium Blvd/Caraway Road Exit' (this is a double exit, take first ramp to Stadium Blvd.) Turn right onto 'Ark. Hwy. 1/U.S. 49/Stadium Blvd-North'. Proceed north on Stadium Blvd a total of 6 traffic lights to Aggie Road. The main entrance to campus is on your left.

Traveling from Little Rock
Take I-30 North across the Arkansas River to I-40 East, then exit U.S. 67 North to Jacksonville, Searcy, and Bald Knob. Proceed north on U.S. 67 to 'Exit 80 Ark. Hwy. 14 Jonesboro'.
Take Hwy. 67 N to Newport, exiting at Jonesboro exit (Hwy. 14). Proceed east to Waldenburg. At the 4-way stop light turn left (north) taking Hwy. 49 N. Highway 49 N will intersect Hwy. 63 at Jonesboro. Take the Hwy. 63 S exit (to the right) to Stadium Blvd/Hwy. 1 N. Exit to the right and turn left (north) onto Stadium. Continue north on 49/Stadium Blvd a total of 6 traffic lights to Aggie Road.
The main entrance to campus is on your left.

Traveling from Interstate 55 N (Hayti)
Take the Hwy. 67 N exit at Hayti, Missouri. Follow Hwy. 412 W to Paragould, AR. At Paragould you will intersect Hwy. 49 S. Turn left (south) on Hwy. 49 and follow it through Brookland and into Jonesboro. As you enter Jonesboro you will see our football stadium on your right. Continue south
to the next traffic light and the Aggie Road entrance of the campus is on your right.

Traveling from St Louis -
Take I-55 South, to Blytheville, Ark. Proceed approximately 40 miles south of Blytheville, on I-55, to 'Exit 23 Arkansas State University/Jonesboro' via U.S. 63. Proceed north on U.S. 63 approximately 45 miles to Jonesboro. Exit right at 'Stadium Blvd/Caraway Road Exit' (this is a double exit, take first ramp to Stadium Blvd.) Turn right onto 'Ark. Hwy. 1/U.S. 49/Stadium Blvd-North'. Proceed north on Stadium Blvd a total of 6 traffic lights to Aggie Road. The main entrance to campus is on your left.

Enter Campus by the Aggie Road Entrance (from Stadium Blvd. Hwy 1/49 N.) Take Aggie Road entrance onto the campus and proceed west.
