
Our department serves the university community by reporting internally consistent and accurate information and by conducting analysis which facilitates strategic planning, accreditation, and enrollment management initiatives while assisting in the assessment and continuous improvement of institutional effectiveness, academic programs, and student learning.
Improving Student Learning
Assessment is a type of action research to help gather indicators that will be useful for improving student learning through our curriculum and teaching strategies. It focuses on student learning and what the student will be able to do and not so much on what we are going to teach.
