Welcome to Arkansas State University!

If you are interested in being involved on campus and want to become a student leader at ASU then Camp ASTATE is the place for you! Camp ASTATE is an additional 2-day, 1 night program designed to provide incoming freshmen students with information to help aid in the transition process to ASU. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet current students, staff, faculty, and administrators from ASU.

Camp Fees & Registration

The cost to participate in Camp ASTATE is $50 per student. This fee includes: all meals, housing in a double room with assigned roommate, t-shirt, all materials, activity fees, and lots of fun! Registration is now open and you may apply by filling out the Camp ASTATE brochure and mailing it, along with payment to the address listed on form.

Camp Program

Camp ASTATE begins on Day 1 at approximately 10:00am and ends on Day 2 at approximately 3:00pm. The camp is facilitated by current student leaders, called Orientation Leaders, and the Leadership Center staff works closely with both the Orientation Leaders and camp participants to create a fun and unique leadership experience.

The Camp A-STATE program will include sessions on:
