Description
The Master of Science in Health Science (MSHS) is a non-discipline specific, generic degree that allows practicing professionals, who are current members of the healthcare workforce, to advance their education. The MSHS degree was designed as an opportunity for career advancement for professional individuals posessing leadership skills, discipline and initiative. The core curriculum, plus one Graduate Certificate, allows the learner to tailor a graduate program that meets his or her individual needs while continuing employment in their respective field. Holders of the degree will have a unique advantage to assume positions of responsibility and leadership in the rapidly changing health care delivery system.
The MSHS, with the various Graduate Certificates, was designed to exhance the existing healthcare work force, particulary in the areas of healthcare, health sciences education, aging studies, helath care management, and addiction studies.
