Event Description
The FYE Academic Expo is a showcase of first-year students research, philanthropy, and creativity and connections to the University. Projects generally focus on degree-specific exploration, and hands-on learning.
We encourage you to explore the class projects below for inspiration for your class project!

Students develop and execute a service project for the campus or surrounding community |
Students develop and execute a project or performance that helps to connect them to their major or a campus resource |
Students develop and execute a research-based project in their major field of study |
Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place will be offered in each category. There will also be s single best-of-show award.

How to Participate/Important Dates
Prior to Oct. 31, faculty should confirm their classes participation including their category of choice (i.e. philanthropy, connections, or research), and request any additional supplies needed (first come, first served). This is a required event for all Making Connections courses. Email Kelli Listenbee at klee@astate.edu .
