Biography
Dr. Seok joined ASU in September of 2010 after finishing Ph.D degree in UCLA. His research interests are in renewable energy, devices for energy harvesting, small scale sensors for bio- and medical application, and thin film secondary cells. Those research works are performed using micro and nanoscale fabrication technology. Dr. Seok is working on the renewable energy systems in the Center for Efficient and Sustainable Use of Resources (CESUR). Prior to coming U.S., Dr. Seok worked for 6 years as a research and development engineer in Hyundai Motors, Samsung Electro-mechanics, and Bosch. His expertise was in mechanical design, stress analysis, control system, and quality engineering in various applications, being linked with multi-physics.
