  • My current research includes projects in the Caribbean, Philippines, Australia, and South Africa where my collaborators, graduate students, and I are investigating:
    • Blood parasites of Caribbean Reef Fishes
    • Habitat associations of parasitic gnathiid isopods
    • Effects of cymothoid and gnathiid isopods on their fish hosts
    • The role of ectoparasites in marine food webs
    • The role of parasites in the success of invasive Indo-Pacific lionfish
