Welcome to Arkansas State University!

Arkansas State University’s String Program was awarded the distinction of being named a new String Project site by the National String Project Consortium. We are the first and only String Project site in the state of Arkansas! Open to K-12 students who are interested in learning a stringed instrument, we offer weekly group lessons led by highly trained A-State string students at minimal cost. All A-State String Project students automatically gain membership into the A-State Youth Orchestra.
