Biography

Ms. Pardos grew up with strong multi-cultural roots due to her German mother and Spanish father. She grew up, went to school and college in Mannheim, Germany, but spent most of her summers with her Spanish family at her grandparents' house in the little village of Burbaguena, Spain. Extensive family travels throughout Europe, and Au-pair-experience in Paris, France deepened her love for foreign languages and cultures.

After earning a Master's degree from the Universität Mannheim in German Philology, Hanne worked as a TV producer for a public German TV channel.

Due to her husband's work they moved in 1999 to Jonesboro where he merged a German and American company. Hanne taught Spanish at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Jonesboro before she joined the ASU World Languages and Culture department in 2008.
