Outstanding Undergraduate Awards

Awards are given annually to outstanding graduating seniors pursuinga BA or BSE in World Languages and Cultures in French or Spanish.  Awards are based on grade point average and contributions to the Department of World Languages and Cultures.  


Academic Performance Scholarship

Scholarship awarded annually to new freshman majoring in World Languages and Cultures with emphasis in French or Spanish.  To request an application or to learn more about the scholarship, please contact the Department of World Languages and Cultures.


Hispanic Scholarship Fund 

Marathon Petroleum Corporation College Scholarship Program 

Program provides a scholarship of up to $15,000 per year.  Selected students may receive up to $15,000 for two academic years for a possible total award of $30,000.

Middle East Studies Grant

The ASU Middle East Studies Committee (MESC) encourages awareness and understanding of issues and people of the Middle East.  Each year, the committee awards parts of its budget, the income from an endowment given to ASU by the Saudi government, to ASU students, faculty, and staff for study and/or research in the Middle East.  The Committee welcomes grant applications from all disciplines and from all ASU-Jonesboro colleges.


Women's Opportunity Awards

Award provided by Soroptimist, an international organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, in local communities and throughout the world.  

Applications are due each year on December 1.  Applications must be emailed to the region contact by December 1 so they can be forwarded to a local club before the December 15 club deadline.
