Lisa joined the ASU Theatre faculty in 2008. Her teaching specialties include Acting, Movement, and Voice, in addition to serving as a dialect, vocal, and text coach. Also a performer, she has worked professionally with such companies as Triad Stage, the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, The Cherry Orchard Theatre, Hope Summer Repertory Theatre, and Playmakers Repertory Company.
As a playwright, Lisa has had five short plays produced at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and continues work on several pieces including a full-length play about her grandmother's experiences growing up in Scotland during WWII. She is also co-creator of the original piece Woman As Verb, which has been performed several times in the Southeast and continues to be workshopped.
