After a big week of science-filled festival fun complete the experience with the Jonesboro Area Brewers at JABFest 2016!
They will be awarding the winners of their very first homebrew competition, open to entrants nationwide, and sanctioned by the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP). In addition, their club members will be serving their homebrew and a side treat as part of Pints & Pairings. Club President Paul Hiebing will deliver a short presentation on the science behind beer pairings and taste perception. Later in the evening, club Secretary Amber Bunnell will give a presentation on the history of women and brewing, to coincide with the A-State Women & Gender Studies “Southern Feminisms” conference. It’s going to be a night of awards, education, a little bit of science, and is not to be missed.
