Biography

Alex Brown has taught media at the University of Kansas, Washburn University, Mississippi State University and Arkansas State University. His professional broadcast experience began in the cable industry and includes lighting and set construction, videography, audio, scriptwriting, editing, film-style, multi-camera directing, live news direction and audio talent work in video and public radio. While at Mississippi State, Brown was also employed as producer/director/cable channel manager on the professional staff of the University Television Center. 

Before his media career, Brown was a professional dancer, teacher, and choreographer, who performed professionally, designed and constructed lighting and sets and taught in the dance departments of Florida State University, Western Illinois University, Radford College and the University of South Florida.
