Biography
Lindsay is from Mountain Home, Arkansas and is an alumna of the A-State Communication Disorders department. She was inspired to pursue Audiology through her Audiology coursework in the program and obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Memphis. Upon graduation, she worked as a clinical audiologist and gained a broad experience in the field in various clinical settings. She has been a faculty member at A-State since Fall 2020. Her research interests are noise exposure levels and noise-induced hearing loss in student musicians, prevalence of central auditory processing disorders in detained youth, and cognitive decline associated with and the psychosocial impact of presbycusis.
