Biography

Merrill has 25 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist in a public school setting.  She joined the ASU CD faculty in August, 2007.  Throughout her career, her innovative ideas have received numerous national awards for economic instruction and language intervention.  Merrill's research interests include functional intervention approaches that utilize themed ideas and authentic materials to target explicit communication skills.
