ASU RTV Student Eric Hicks
Journalism and Radio-TV provide undergraduate students the opportunity to take a three-hour internship course that they register for in Summer I. Graduate students sign up for Independent Study hours to receive credit for internships.
Interns need to work 150 hours for undergraduate credit in Journalism and RTV while 200 hours are required for graduate credit in RTV. Students may start and complete the internship anytime during the summer, but they must meet the minimum work-hour requirement.
How do I enroll for an internship?
Prior to enrolling in the course, students must secure the internship, complete the application form and then have it approved by their adviser, department chair and the internship coordinator for the college or department.
