Biography

Dr. Kathy White Loyd has a diverse background as a business executive, educator and entrepreneur recognized for contributions in the fields of information technology and economic development.

She serves on the Board of Directors for Mattel, Inc. and has been on the board since 2001. Loyd is the Founding Director of the Women’s Leadership Center at Arkansas State University, and has previously served as Interim Dean of the Neil Griffin College of Business.

During her career, she has served as a Corporate Officer and Chief Information Officer for several Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Loyd retired from Cardinal Health (CAH: $90 billion healthcare and distribution company) as Executive Vice President E-commerce and Chief Information Officer. Prior to her business career, she was an associate professor of information technology at the University of NC-Greensboro for 10 years.

Dr. Loyd holds an undergraduate degree and M.B.A from Arkansas State University and a doctorate from the University of Memphis.
