Welcome to Arkansas State University!

ASU Financial Literacy

Welcome to the ASU Financial Education web page.

Debt and personal finances are serious issues for students. Students frequently fail to complete their degrees because of debt and financial stress and debt can limit career options for those students who do finish their degrees. Your education is an investment and borrowing money to pay for it can be a financially prudent thing to do. However, the amount you borrow and how you manage your money while you are in school will have a significant effect on your successes at the university and in your life after graduation. With the assistance of a grant from the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) and TIAA-CREF, Arkansas State has created a financial education program for our students. The links on the left will take you to educational resources designed specifically to help students make the best possible use of the money they have and to understand how to make wise use of borrowed money. Each link on this webpage will take you to specific resources that may be of help to particular groups of students.
