Campus Activities Continue Today

Campus activities will continue today, including Dean B. Ellis Library opening at noon, women's basketball this afternoon at 2 p.m. and the Delta Symphony Concert at Fowler Center.

With up to a 1/4 inch of ice on trees around campus, please use caution as the ice begins to fall from trees and elevated surfaces. Many tree limbs have fallen, and during today, more will fall with the ice load in the wind.

While the icy landscape looks pretty, please stay away from low hanging branches and watch out for persistent icy patches on the ground.

If you are an Agriculture Business major and pursue the Crop Consulting and Agronomic Services, there is a scholarship available! ProAg Services is a proud sponsor of these scholarships!

AMOUNT AND TERM OF AWARD:

Scholarships of $2,000 each provided funds are available.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR RECEIVING SCHOLARSHIP:

 Full-time student at ASU-J.

  • Must be an Agricultural Business major in the College of Agriculture and Technology.
  • Must complete the Crop Consulting and Agronomic Services minor as shown below:
  • Students will receive $1,000 upon completion of the first 9 hours of minor course work and $1,000 during the semester they complete requirements for Crop Consulting and Agronomic Services minor (18-19 hours).

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MAINTAINING THE SCHOLARSHIP:

To ensure the integrity of the Crop Consulting and Agronomic Services Minor, recipients must: (1) achieve a final grade point average of 3.0/4.0 on all minor coursework (18-19 hours as defined above) and (2) achieve a letter grade of “C” or better on all minor coursework.

Please note: applications received by May 1 will receive priority but we will continue to accept applications until August 15.
