These are exciting times for Engineering at A-State! Our undergraduate enrollment is increasing, we are expanding our research, and we’ll be building a research-based graduate program in the near future.
Our engineering programs are recognized regionally and nationally for their academic excellence and unique educational experience. We believe in promoting excellence in engineering education with emphasis on teaching, mentoring, and student learning.
Challenge ready graduates
Engineering continues to evolve to meet the demanding challenges in the 21st century. Major strengths of the programs are the significant amount of student-faculty interaction, small class sizes, open-door policy of faculty, and the camaraderie of their fellow students. We are among the few engineering programs that offer a truly multidisciplinary approach that prepares graduates for the work environment that exists today.
All undergraduate engineering programs (civil, electrical, mechanical, and general) are accredited by ABET, an organization that accredits university programs in the disciplines of applied science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.
