The Art + Design department of Arkansas State University is proud to feature work by animator and artist Jeron Braxton in the Fine Arts Center Gallery in a solo exhibition entitled Idle Leisure. Jeron Braxton is a self taught animator using retro gaming aesthetics to explore the Black American experience. He has won numerous awards including top prizes and nominations at three consecutive Sundance Film Festivals and featured work at SXSW Film Festival. Idle Leisure includes 4 works by Braxton, including his 2020 Short Film Grand Jury Prize Nominee from Sundance Daytime Noir.
Jeron Braxton will give an artist talk at 4pm on March 12th in the Fine Arts Center Gallery, and Idle Leisure will conclude the following day.
