We cordially invite you to attend this year’s Global Teaching Conference, March 27, 2013 on the Jonesboro, Arkansas campus. This year’s conference is a joint effort on behalf of Arkansas State University’s -College of Education, -College of Business Teaching Conference Committee, and -Interactive Teaching & Technology Center’s Annual Conference Committee (ITTC). The conference is designed to be an informational and problem-solving forum for all faculty, administrators, and instructional designers throughout the Mid-South, the State of Arkansas, and around the Globe to come together to share ideas and learn from each other. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss and receive information about current trends and issues that educators are facing through the strands listed below. Concurrent sessions will focus on these six strands: • Teaching & Learning including Student Issues and Pedagogy • Assessment and Accreditation • Classroom and Campus Technology • Mentoring of Faculty and Students • International Relationships and Education • Online & Distance Education Best Practices Registration for the event is requested by March 15.
